Course Overview
RHCE Certification: Red Hat System Administration III or performance-based Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) exam for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 (EX294) is for Linux system administrators and developers who need to manage multiple systems using Red Hat ® Ansible ® Engine and executing common system administration tasks across a number of systems with Ansible automation tools for provisioning, Configuration, application deployment and orchestration.
- Install and configure Ansible/Red Hat Ansible Engine on the controller machine.
- Create and update inventories of managed hosts and manage connections to them.
- Automate administration tasks with Ansible playbooks and ad hoc commands.
- Protect sensitive data used by Ansible with Ansible Vault.
- Reuse code and simplify playbook development with Ansible roles
This hands-on, practical exam requires you to use Red Hat Ansible Engine to perform real-world tasks. You will be provided with multiple systems and will be required to install and configure Ansible Engine and then use it to perform standard system administration tasks similar to what you would do on the job. Your work will be evaluated by applying the playbooks created during the exam against freshly installed systems and verifying that those systems and services work as specified.
RHCE CERTIFICATION
Candidate would earn the certificate of Red Hat Certified Engineer EX294 (RHCE) which can be updated. Every candidate has it’s own unique certification id and number which is globally accredited.

The RHCE Certification is regarded as a high-level credential that’s not easy to obtain. Candidates must first obtain the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) credential and then pass a four hour, hands-on, performance-based exam that’s intense and demanding.
